We have a 35+ million global community in our blockchain platform. We are looking for a self-starter with a growth mindset to help shape and bring Pi’s narrative to both the cryptocurrency/Web3 and the “traditional” Web2 worlds.
You will work closely with other content creators and related roles to strategize and deliver on a content roadmap. You will tell the story of Pi’s journey, technological uniqueness, and community growth and engagement, and intrigue not just the crypto natives and enthusiasts but also the crypto curious.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the production of high-quality long-form content, blog posts, case studies, and press releases
- Develop a keen understanding of various target audiences such as existing and prospective community members, journalists and influencers, app developers, etc.
- Create a content strategy and calendar that maps to strategic goals and target audience, leveraging content of various forms, length, and frequency
- Develop a deep understanding of Pi network’s values and differentiators
- Conduct regular research to identify industry trends and gaps, and write authoritatively about Pi Network
- Create a unique voice for Pi Network in the Web3 space and enhance its thought leadership
- Understand the product roadmap and high-level strategies to articulate its benefits
- Collaborate with other Community team members on various community engagement initiatives, and assist with ideating and preparing content that helps excite and engage the community
- Identify gaps in the understanding of community members and developers, and work with subject matter experts to prepare educational content
- Collaborate regularly with Leadership, Product, Engineering, community members, and consultants to brainstorm content ideas
- Work with content creators and artists in the Pi community to co-create or host content
- Ensure each piece of content serves a purpose and fits the Pi Network brand, tone, and messaging
- Apply strong project management skills to deliver projects on time to exceptional quality standards
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a content-related role such as content writer or manager, copywriter or copyeditor, journalist or editor
- Expertise in writing high-quality long form content, blog posts, or news articles
- Versatile in length and depth of writing as well as the level of branding across a wide range of content
- Excellent copyediting and proofreading skills
- Passionate about the potential of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies and excited about its mainstream adoption
- Creative, analytical, and thoughtful storyteller
- Organized, attentive to detail, and eager to research and learn
- Able to produce a high volume of stellar content under tight deadlines
- Able to excel in a dynamic and highly collaborative work environment
- Able to identify dependencies and work cross-functionally
- Able to take ownership in projects and deliverables, and receive constructive feedback
- A strong command of the written English language
- Work hours must at least partially overlap with the United States West Coast work hours
Additional Requirements for Content Manager:
- 4+ years of experience in a content-related role that includes both writing and editing as well as managing a content team
- Able to formulate clear goals and develop a content strategy
- Able to incorporate SEO and web analytics into content strategy
- Excellent project management skill and experience building and executing on content calendars
- Able to analyze content performance and translate metrics to key stakeholders
- Able to create a repeatable, scalable content production process involving multiple content writers and stakeholders
- Able to ideate content and guide teammates to create effective content ensuring consistent brand tone and messaging across multiple platforms
Additional Preferences:
- Experience working in the Web3 space
