The purpose of this role is to conduct customer due diligence reviews and facilitate customer communications, ensuring the seamless onboarding of customers globally in alignment with our compliance and customer service standards. As part of Strike’s onboarding team, KYC/KYB Verifications Associates have a direct impact on all business areas and their work is used to inform critical business decisions across Strike. You will have the opportunity to take ownership, drive change, and have a direct impact on the overall success of the onboarding program. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in performing KYC and KYB verifications within the fintech industry, coupled with a keen interest in the dynamic world of bitcoin. The ideal candidate should also thrive while communicating with customers via email in an ambitious startup environment and be excited about Strike’s mission and potential. You must be comfortable with a team-first approach in a remote work environment. Location: Remote, Global (excluding US candidates) Responsibilities
Customer Due Diligence: Perform comprehensive KYC/KYB checks and verification processes for new customers. Documentation Analysis: Manage a rigorous review of sensitive documents, ensuring precision and confidentiality are paramount. Customer Communication: Partner with our customer support teams, handling verification-related inquiries and pursuing additional information as needed. Continuous Improvement: Offer insights for enhancing KYC and KYB procedures and assist in the evolution of automated verification solutions. Processes: Stay abreast of evolving best practices and internal KYC and KYB processes for our operational jurisdictions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside compliance, customer service, and product team members to refine and expedite the onboarding process. Risk Escalations: Detect and escalate any anomalies or suspicious behaviors in line with our AML policies.
Requirements
Experience: At least 1-2 years in KYC and KYB verifications within fintech or financial services, with a particular focus on high-volume environments. Analytical Prowess: Exceptional analytical abilities with a commitment to detail. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in KYC and KYB digital verification tools as well as customer service platforms, such as Zendesk, and a willingness to embrace/learn new technologies. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse customer base. Independence & Teamwork: Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced setting, taking ownership of responsibilities. Cryptocurrency Familiarity: A good understanding of the bitcoin or broader crypto industry
