We're hiring a full-time Business Development Lead. You'll play a pivotal role in helping us expand our business so that we can reach more partnerships that fit our mission and vision, as we establish ourselves as the technology leader in the blockchain-powered global economy.


What you'll do

  • Keep up with the latest developments in the blockchain ecosystem 
    • Know all the important and influential companies and people in the space, and what they are building
    • Keep up with the trends in the space
    • Develop a deep understanding of the details of what people are building and explain it to the rest of the team
  • Keep up with the blockchain market 
    • Learn the ins and outs of the current market trends in blockchain technology
    • Stay abreast with the important investors in the field (a16z, Paradigm, Bain Capital Crypto, etc.), where they are investing, and their theses
    • Read the blogs of influential companies and people in the field (Vitalik, Paradigm, etc.)
    • Keep track of the investments taking place in the field, how much money companies are raising, and their purpose
  • Understand our products 
    • Talk to our scientists and engineers to understand our product strengths and weaknesses
    • Use our products day-to-day to understand their strengths and weaknesses
  • Help us scale our existing partnerships 
    • Talk to our partners to understand their needs
    • Understand our partners' priorities and how they are using our products
    • Understand how our products help realize the broader vision and mission of each of our partners
    • In case a partnership is lost, understand why and how we can do better, and effect the changes within the product and team to ensure we learn and grow
  • Help us close new partnerships 
    • Bring new protocols and ecosystems such as chains, asset issuers, and exchanges onto our products and infrastructure
    • Get our products distributed through the major wallets, aggregators, and frontends, and negotiate the commercial terms that go with it
    • Reach out to prospective partners and run the first meeting to identify their needs
  • Participate in the community 
    • Travel to all the important annual conferences in the field
    • Travel between US East Coast, US West Coast, Europe, and Asia, outside of conferences, to meet with existing or prospective partners or influential people in the space
    • Promote our company in these conferences by talking to people who may be interested, and explaining what we do
    • Stay informed about the geopolitical landscape in interoperability

What we're looking for

  • An excellent overview of blockchain technologies and their market
  • BD experience in the blockchain interoperability space
  • Strong network of connections with asset issuers, Layer-1s, Layer-2s, CEXs, DEXs, and other DeFi protocols
  • Stellar interpersonal skills, written and oral communication, happy to talk to people and socialize
  • Professional knowledge of English
