- Write formal, rigorous research papers that contribute to the body of knowledge in the DeFi space and support the decision-making process for clients and stakeholders.
- Engage with clients during the pre-sale phase to understand their needs and develop strategic research plans.
- Host regular progress meetings with clients, providing updates and insights on research developments.
- Collaborate with the Chaos Labs product team to recommend data and features for the Chaos Risk Observability and Monitoring portal, enhancing its utility for protocols and communities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in economic research, risk analysis, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with DeFi space exposure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid history of conducting data-driven research.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of compiling and presenting research findings and writing formal research papers.
- Team player with the ability to work with clients and internal teams to refine product offerings.
- Proficient in reading and a strong understanding of smart contract code.
- Comfortable running and modifying Python scripts, and capable of writing basic Python scripts for data fetching and normalization for research purposes.
- Knowledge of DeFi protocols, financial markets, and black-swan events is highly desirable.
