Job Description
As a Senior Blockchain Engineer at Timeleap SA, you will be instrumental in developing and scaling our advanced blockchain solutions. You will work on projects integrating blockchain with traditional systems, ensuring secure, scalable, high-performance applications. Your expertise will contribute to the ongoing development of our "Unchained" platform and BaaS offerings, helping to shape the future of decentralized technology. This position is for a one-year contract with the possibility of extension. Please note that we are currently seeking candidates located in Switzerland or Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance blockchain applications and smart contracts.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of secure and scalable blockchain protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain solutions with existing systems, mainly through our "Unchained" platform.
- Optimize and improve the performance of existing blockchain applications.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and apply them to ongoing projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in blockchain development, with a strong understanding of blockchain architectures, consensus algorithms, and smart contracts.
- Proven experience with the Cosmos SDK, Ethermint, and major blockchain platforms such as Ethereum and Polkadot.
- Proficiency in Solidity, Golang, and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, distributed systems, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
- Experience with AWS for cloud infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of Python and Rust is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
