RociFi is building a new multi-chain DeFi primitive for zero and under-collateralized lending. At its core, the protocol enables lending on Web3.0 by utilizing decentralized identity and on-chain reputation and behavior.
We are looking to find an experienced Quant Engineer or Credit Modeler to join our existing Data Science team. Youâll be working on a variety of Machine Learning and financial engineering topics based in DeFi.
Tasks
- Participate in technical specification design, technical roadmap, and implementation of the credit algorithms and risk metrics
- Produce high quality and auditable code in Python
- Work closely with Product owners and Data Scientists on design, performance, and ideation of new features
Requirements
- Strong ML or AI background with proven experience in either credit or quant finance roles previously; either in TradFi or DeFi. A strong interest and passion for the potential of DeFi is essential, as well as a high degree of focus on security and scalability.
- 3+ years experience in Quant or Credit Finance, or applicable experience in ML/AI
- Proven experience in deployed projects or code by run in the real-world with real money
- Strong understanding or ability to learn very quickly Cryptoeconomics, token standards, major protocols and primitives (loans, AMM, DEX) and the resulting behavior and data
- Self-starter with minimal supervision and insatiable curiosity for data and experimentation
- Fluency in Python
Bonus Knowledge
- 2+ years in general software or data engineering a big plus
- ML-driven Network Analysis experience
- Familiarity with standard DevOps tooling
- Openness to accepting payment in USDC
