Design Engineer
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to implement pixel-perfect, robust, and accessible user interfaces on the web
- Collaborate with other teams as you help build and maintain our design systems across both Icy.Tools and QuickNode.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to understand our APIs that power dynamic frontend features
- Directly influence and introduce new design and engineering standards, tooling, and processes that help the team scale
- Work end to end with stakeholders to understand product and features requirements, design UI/UX solutions in Figma with a design-system first approach, and carry your designs through to code

What You'll Bring
- Professional experience in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, ViewComponent, Angular, etc)
- Professional experience in Typescript, HTML, CSS3 usage in building large-scale applications
- Experience working in modern design software (Figma, Sketch, etc.)
- Experience in UI design and the design process
- Experience building fulling responsive or adaptive designs
- Experience adding motion and animations to enhance the experience
- Proficient in Git and knowledge of pull-request-based workflows
- Sense of customer empathy and experience strategizing the product direction
- Desire to understand developer pain points, things that need to get done, and a strong sense of ownership
- Demonstrate ability to deliver results on time with high quality
- Good communication skills and responsiveness
