Who are you

Serotonin is seeking a Designer to develop and execute effective design deliverables on behalf of Serotonin clients. The person in this role will join and collaborate with a growing design team, including our VP of Design, Senior Digital Designer, and Brand Designer as well as work directly with our clients. The ideal candidate is an exceptional designer with a proven experience in branding and design relating to blockchain and Web3 and is excited to craft the visual language and narrative of emerging tech. Candidates must have a strong interest in these topics with an eagerness to expand their knowledge as new clients in new use cases require design support. Serotonin offers competitive market compensation, including remote work. This role provides the designer an opportunity to work closely with emerging and established Web3 companies alike to help them construct and execute game-changing design strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting our design team in all directions (i.e. creating pitch decks, assisting in creation of client brand identity, etc).
• Ideate, create and present ideas to the internal Serotonin design team as well as assist with client presentations.
• Client social design: creation of visual assets for each app - Twitter, IG, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.
• Assist with Serotonin brand creation and elevation.
• Is able to take concepts into high fidelity designs
• Stay on top of technology trends and announcements across the Web3 ecosystem.
• Remain well-versed in the design strategies of other technology and product teams.
• Help maintain design operations for managed clients to ensure alignment and transparency across the Serotonin design team.
• Work closely with the design team and VP of Design to strategize internal design strategy for clients.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• 3-4 years experience working in design, publications, and/or designing for tech companies.
• Strong typography and color knowledge and fundamentals.
• Proven track record executing successful design deliverables for a variety of audiences/clients.
• Past experience in design strategy in addition to execution is a plus.
• Experience working with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud and Google Suite
• A knack for grasping concepts and products quickly and is able to self govern
• Experience with blockchain/Web3 or fintech, or a demonstrated interest to learn.
• A desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
