Help us build accessible, usable, & delightful products! We’re seeking a Freelance Designer who can navigate a variety of mediums to deliver world-class user experiences. In the cryptocurrency industry, human-centric product design is often an afterthought. But at O(1) Labs, we strive to create accessible experiences that are easily understood by an international audience. Designers have the opportunity to work in close concert with engineering, to form a unified product team. Brainstorming is promoted as an inclusive process, involving the entire organization. The Vignelli Canon and Ten Principles of Good Design inspire our design approach, we emphasize using a grid-based approach. Figma is our primary design tool, wherein creating and maintaining design libraries plays an integral part of the role, but any graphic design tool is fine. This role is on a part time basis, 1 day a week (8 hours) and duration of the project 4-5 months. Responsibilities

Designing native and web experiences for desktop and mobile, for a variety of devices and operating systems, using a graphic design program Working with the Marketing team to create engaging campaigns and well crafted visual assets for a variety of platforms and mediums, and supporting our Developer Relations team with similar visual assets Wireframing Prototyping User testing Deploying and maintaining design libraries Extending and improving our websites and documentation Illustrating, if capable

Requirements

4+ years experience Willingness to work primarily with Figma preferred (but any graphic design program is fine)

Ideal candidate

Interest in cryptocurrency and personal experience having tried various Web3 wallets, websites, etc to gain industry perspective Positive & collaborative Self-directed
