About the Opportunity

We're looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer, to join our remote-first team here at Trust Machines and help us revolutionize the world of Bitcoin technology. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software testing, infrastructure development, and a passion for blockchain technology. As our first Testing Engineer you'll be responsible for designing and implementing robust testing frameworks, tools, and processes, playing a pivotal role in shaping our product's success.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain a robust and scalable testing infrastructure for Bitcoin decentralized peg and other key components of our technology stack
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and implement testing best practices, ensuring high-quality software releases
• Create and maintain test suites, test plans, and test cases for all product features and functionalities
• Analyze test results and work closely with the development team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
• Continuously improve the testing process, tools, and techniques to ensure the highest quality standards are met
• Research and evaluate new testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance the testing infrastructure
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on testing-related matters
• Contribute to the overall success of the company by staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and Bitcoin technologies

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing and test automation, preferably in blockchain or cryptocurrency projects
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and tools like docker, GitHub actions, and cloud based testing frameworks.
• Experience with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

We’d Also Like to See:

• Familiarity with Bitcoin, Stacks, and other blockchain bridges or decentralized pegs
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and processes
• Knowledge of performance, load, and stress testing techniques
• Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessments
• Contributions to open-source projects, particularly in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space
• Strong passion for emerging technologies and a desire to shape the future of finance and decentralization
