Tech Intern

Position Summary
Altonomy is looking for an intern to join the tech team to design, build and roll out next generation software solutions. During the internship, you will get participate in the full SDLC lifecycle, working under the guidance of senior engineers. You will have the opportunity to learn about and tackle complex problems on the exciting frontier of cryptocurrencies trading.
Job Responsibilities
- Work With the technology team to develop and own key components of the technology stacks that support our global cryptocurrencies trading desks and related operations
- Build tools, reports and feeds to meet business needs from Traders, Quants, and Operations
- Interact effectively with high-volume trading desks and partner operations areas to understand day- to-day requirements and issues timely resolution for live applications
- Contribute to inter-team and cross-team efforts to enforce standards and ensure designs adhere to optimum patterns
Qualifications / Experiences
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Familiarity with Unix-like operating systems
- Python and JavaScript experience is a must
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) preferred
- Experience with DevOps & SDLC tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, JIRA, Git, ELK, Grafana is a plus
- Experience with blockchain technologies is a plus

- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to work independently
- Interest in both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets
