Animator | Seedworld
We are seeking a Junior Animator to work on one of the biggest Metaverse projects ever Seedworld on Unreal 5.3+.

As an entry-level animator, you will play a key role in creating and optimizing character, prop, and vehicle rigs for our games, ensuring they seamlessly integrate into Unreal Engine 5. Collaborating with game designers, you'll develop animations for characters, vehicles, and props while troubleshooting animation issues to meet Unreal Blueprint requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Game Designer and Art Director to create animations for characters, vehicles, and props.
- Assist in maintaining existing rigs and creating new custom rigs based on design requirements.
- Work with Art Directors, Technical Artists, and Developers to understand technical needs and optimize the animation pipeline.
- Stay updated on the latest rigging and Unreal techniques and apply them to production.
- Contribute ideas to enhance asset usability throughout the project.
- Participate in technical discussions and problem-solving sessions.
- Summarize work and documentation for better internal and outsourcing communication.
- Resolve animation-related issues and attend regular technical reviews.

Required Qualifications:
- Some experience (2+ years) in animation within the gaming industry.
- Familiarity with Maya, Photoshop, Z-Brush, Mudbox, or equivalent software.
- Basic understanding of character, prop, and vehicle animation tasks.
- Development experience, such as C++ programming, is a plus.

Desired Qualifications: 
- Ability to create custom rigs in Maya.
- Understanding of anatomy for skinning.
- Proficiency in various types of animations.
- Knowledge of biped/quadruped locomotion and IK/FK features.
- Experience with facial rigging and joint systems.
- Familiarity with game engines and development tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to project deadlines.
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5 is advantageous.

Bonus Skills:
- Extensive experience in creating custom rigs and skinning in Maya;
- Ability to transfer animation files/mocap from different kinds of skeletons to another  through HumanIk in Maya or something similar;
- Knowledge in Unreal Engine 5 and its Animation blueprint implementation. 

Location:
100% remote.
