RECUR is building the future of digital collectibles on-chain, known as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) – the newest Unicorn industry.

Global brands are interested in venturing into NFTs to establish new connections with their fans. However, they are very careful about who they work with, especially in the cutting-edge world of blockchain. RECUR is founded by the perfect blend of leaders in the brand licensing space and technology leaders from top cryptocurrency exchanges, digital asset trading desks, financial institutions, and blockchain software companies. Investors include Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum, Winklevoss Twins, Courtside VC, Hashed, and many more.

RECUR is seeking a Sr Motion Designer to join its team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team, where you will be focused on creating compelling designs for NFTs. Must be a versatile designer who can follow brand guidelines while still being able to create fresh and fun stills and animations that tell a story and create an immersive experience for collectors.

What you will do at RECUR

• Create Still and Animated assets to be used in or as NFT’s
• Develop an evolving toolkit of assets that enable procedural content creation
• Rig and animate characters from time to time
• Makes sure assets are polished from geometry to UV’s
• Come up with creative ways to display information
• Research and become familiar with new IP quickly

What you bring to RECUR

• 5+ years of professional motion graphics experience
• Expert knowledge of Cinema 4D
• Expert knowledge of Octane Render, Redshift, or Arnold
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with a strong emphasis on After Effects, and Photoshop
• The ability to take critique without ego
• The ability to work proactively and generate ideas with a team
• The ability to quickly deliver high-quality work under tight timelines with strong attention to detail

Nice to have

• Houdini Experience
• Pipeline Experience, Deadline, python, other automation utilities
• Presentation and Deck design experience

This is a completely remote role and can work anywhere in the US.
