We are looking for an enthusiastic, Mauritius-based junior investment analyst, who is equally interested in investing and blockchain technology, to join our fundamental investment team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing digital asset markets, producing research notes, as well as the initial steps of the fundamental investment process for an expanding universe of token projects. You will work closely with early digital asset adopters and experts and experienced investment and technology professionals. Join us and help develop and deliver industry-leading investment products in the dynamic digital asset ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market updates and external communication
  • Monitor digital asset markets on a daily basis, discussing developments with the wider investment team
  • Develop content for our clients and social media
  • Engage on social platforms with the wider community
  • Assist portfolio manager in preparing monthly portfolio commentary newsletter

• Fundamental Research
  • Assist in the investment process by gathering relevant information on digital asset tokens under review, digging increasingly deeper over time
  • Convert unstructured qualitative and quantitative data into a consistent format for investment notes and analysis
  • Map out investable digital asset token universe and maintain and enrich portfolio of key metrics
• Client presentations
  • Assist in the creation and enhancement of presentations and other marketing and investor-facing materials
  • Assist in preparation for client meetings

Skill Set and Qualifications:

• This role is based in Mauritius
• Advanced degree in Finance, Business, STEM or Economics
• Professional designation such as CFA, FRM, CAIA nice to have but not required
• Ability to communicate in a punchy and attention-capturing way
• Understanding and passion for digital asset ecosystem and blockchain technology
• A true passion for conducting fundamental research, with a curious mindset and desire to figure things out and find ingenious ways to gather interesting information
• Interest in investing and understanding of financial analysis (assessment of the viability, stability, and profitability of a business or project)
• Ability to think independently, creatively approach data analysis, and communicate complex concepts clearly
• Focus on automation and continually finding ways to improve existing processes
• Understanding of social media and tools supporting the data gathering and propagation of content
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Nice to have: ability to use programming tools such as Python to collect and analyze data
