Being Part of Centrifuge
Centrifuge's mission is to bridge the world of traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi) to leverage the power of real world assets in DeFi.
We are seeking an experienced frontend engineer that approaches problem with an architectural mindset and considers the tradeoffs of every decision. Collaboration is integral but since Centrifuge operates as a remote-first, Self Managing Organization, being able to contribute independently and autonomously is critical. At Centrifuge, engineers are more than just coders as they are encouraged to collaborate with designers and product managers to help flesh out specs and drive the vision.

The main focus for this role is building the Centrifuge DApp which is currently undergoing a redesign. This is where asset originators mint their real world assets as NFT's and investors provide liquidity as DAI to asset pools.

What does a front-end developer in web3 do?
A front-end developer in web3 typically works on developing and building the user-facing part of applications that are built on blockchain technology
This can include tasks such as designing and implementing the user interface, using libraries like web3.js and Ethers.js, creating and maintaining the overall look and feel of the application, and ensuring that the app is accessible and easy to use for the end user
Front-end developers in web3 may also be responsible for integrating the application with the underlying blockchain network, as well as working with other members of the development team to create a seamless and intuitive user experience.
