Blockchain Engineer (Remote) (Full-Time)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of Actively Validated Services (AVS), working closely with our founding team
- Define technical requirements for AVS within the Veda architecture, ensuring critical functions such as serving as a cross-chain oracle network for pricing all DeFi positions and providing user safeguards like rebalance simulations and rate limiting
- Oversee the initial implementation of AVS and manage ongoing feature enhancements
- Ensure AVS performance and security against malicious actors throughout its lifecycle
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline AND 3+ years of experience in software development; OR 5+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of degree
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Programming experience in Rust or similar (C++, Golang, etc)
- Programming experience in SolidityExperience with distributed systems and applied cryptography
- Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery concepts
- Experience writing, maintaining, and upgrading unit and integration tests
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency a plus (however not a prerequisite)
