About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Developer Growth Manager with a strong background in venture capital or incubator to join our founding team in the San Francisco Bay Area and build our AI developer ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive AI developer growth strategy, leveraging VC and incubator networks and insights to foster global relationships.
- Event Planning: Organize and execute developer events like hackathons and workshops to promote MyShell products and achieve "developer success."
- Feedback Integration: Gather and provide product feedback to improve features and meet developer needs.
- Community Building: Identify and engage with key developer profiles to expand MyShell’s ecosystem, fostering a thriving local and global developer community.
- Community Engagement: Manage MyShell's presence on platforms such as Reddit, Product Hunt, Twitter, and Telegram to attract AI developers.
- Discord Management: Grow and facilitate MyShell’s Discord community, encouraging content creation and knowledge sharing.
- Behavior Analysis: Analyze developer behavior, conduct competitive research, and identify pain points to optimize developer engagement and product improvements.
Qualifications
- Location: Based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Education: Bachelor’s or advanced degree.
- Experience: 3+ years in growth and operation management within developer communities, with a preference for those with VC experience and Generative AI.
- Community Knowledge: Deep familiarity with global technology communities and AI trends.
- Developer Immersion: Long-term involvement in developer communities, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Event Experience: Proven track record in organizing and participating in developer events.
- Communication: Strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to build cooperative relationships.
- Market Awareness: High learning agility and sensitivity to market trends.
