Anonym is an early-stage, venture backed company building foundational technologies to enable the $500B+ digital advertising industry to truly embrace privacy. Our vision is to rebuild trust in the free, open internet by ensuring people’s data is used in ways that meet their expectations while also enabling performant advertising. To achieve this vision, and put privacy and consumer empowerment at the core, we believe the advertising ecosystem of the future can and should embrace web3 concepts including decentralization, cryptography, transparency and open governance. The company was founded in 2022 by industry veterans with a combined 50 years of experience across product development, digital analytics and marketing.

Anonym is seeking engineers with privacy expertise. Our ideal candidate has:

• Experience using tools from cryptography and differential privacy in a production environment. Related academic experience is a plus.
• Comfortable writing Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and implementing emerging technologies
• Applied knowledge of cloud storage and computing platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP)
• Experience developing (or interest in learning) end-to-end APIs, data-flows, and infrastructure for consumer or enterprise products
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• BS, MS, or PhD in degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering.

Nice to have:

• Digital advertising development experience within the programmatic ecosystem and/or major ‘walled gardens’
• Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, ITP, ATT, and Google’s Privacy Sandbox proposals
