Senior Business Development Specialist Sales

Synternet
Remote (European / US East time zones)

This job is closed

Synternet is a trustless, permissionless protocol designed for cross-chain asset management. It helps investors find yield and mitigate risk, while enabling users to verify the collateral backing multi-chain assets. Developers can build on a composable Web3 data network, scaling their dApps globally.

We are looking for a Senior BD Specialist with strong revenue generation experience to play an integral part in the growth and adoption of our protocol.

You will join a company filled with like-minded people who understand the purpose and impact of our project, and you will help to translate that purpose externally. Find out more at https://www.synternet.com/.

We're a remote-first company, so you can be based anywhere, as long as your schedule is aligned with European timezones (and you're always free to come to the offices in Vilnius/Kaunas, too!)

Main responsibilities will be:

  • Establish new relationships with leading blockchain projects across the industry and grow the existing ones, finding new ways that Synternet can support their work and goals.
  • Actively outreach and connect with leading crypto projects to generate demand from potential users of Synternet solutions, and work with the main ecosystems on the supply side.
  • Research and identify new business development and partnership opportunities.
  • Develop business cases and create innovative proposals for potential partners that drive value for both parties.
  • Innovate on how we encourage other projects, partners and clients to adopt our solution.
  • Collaborate with the Product team, provide continuous feedback from external conversations to influence the best strategic and technical decisions for Synternet solutions.
  • Attend various crypto conferences, hackathons and meetups to represent Synternet and expand the reach of our BD efforts.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of achieving success in a technical B2B sales role, including solid revenue generation figures.
  • Previous experience working in a Web3 project in a Business Development role would be preferred -  ideally with a sales rather than partnerships focus.
  • Experience with (and preferably an existing network within) the DeFi space would be desirable.
  • Comfortable with all aspects of the sales process: from prospecting to close.
  • A deep interest in the crypto/web3 space and a working technical knowledge of blockchain technology and solutions.
  • An ability to have productive conversations with technical audiences.
  • An ability to explain technical concepts in an understandable way to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience achieving results by using both the standard channels (e-mail, calling, linkedin), and the crypto-preferred ones (twitter, discord, telegram)

You get:

  • The role comes with a significant salary package (dependent on experience), which consists of a base salary, quarterly bonuses based on achieving business development targets and goals, as well as other token incentives.
  • An annual budget for your professional & personal development.
  • 12 learning days per year dedicated for your professional development
  • Remote-first environment (you’re still welcome to come to one of our offices, but you choose!)
