To support our Business in day-to-day challenges we are looking for an IP Legal Intern, motivated to join our dynamic Ledger Legal Team and experience an in-house legal environment in a diverse and fast-moving high technology-focused environment. In this role you will have the opportunity to support Ledger’s business across a broad range of areas.
Your mission
- Assist on the management of Ledger’s IP portfolio (trademarks, patents, product design, domain names, know-how…)
- Support key projects and assist on the protection and launch of new products and services
- Draft and negotiate with the Commercial Legal Team different contracts across a broad range of areas including procurement, IP licensing and marketing
- Perform legal research tasks
- Assist on disputes and contentious matters; including brand protection (takedown of phishing websites and fake social media accounts)
- Depending on the Ledger business needs, you will be prepared to jump in and support across a wide range of IP areas (AI, Open source, specific Web3 issues) in an industry that is fast-paced and constantly evolving
What we're looking for
- You are a trainee lawyer and / or have a DJCE / Master II (BAC+5) in IP law or new technologies law
- You already have previous meaningful internship experience in IP law
- You have some knowledge of blockchain technology and Web3 or are keen on learning about the space
- Technical or engineer background is a plus
- You have excellent written and verbal communication, drafting and presentation skills in English, allowing you to interact with international teams and to work on matters in English
- You are pragmatic and can manage ambiguity
- You are proactive, self-motivated, resilient, and able to prioritize matters
- You can create and maintain solid, trusting working relationships
- You are detail-oriented and can analyze and simplify complex issues
- You are flexible and willing to embrace change
€1,000 - €1,500 a month
Compensation:
Bac+5/Master 2 : 1500 € gross / month
Bac+4/Master 1 : 1000 € gross / month
Practical Infos:
- Position located in: Paris, France.
- Duration of internship: 6 months
- Starting month: November 18, 2024
- Lunch vouchers with Swile
- 75% reimbursement of your monthly transport subscription
- 1 day off for every full month worked
