Your mission

Drive everything related to quality and performance; this means setting up test automation frameworks and tools from scratch and being the voice of quality in the squad.

What you’ll do

  • Help the team develop rich test ideas, scenarios and experiments that yield an in-depth coverage of systems under test (well above and beyond positive, negative and edge cases).
  • Be an integral part of the agile development workflow and an advocate for testing and code quality within the engineering teams you work with, from standups to sprint planning, to backlog refinement and long-term planning.
  • Write and maintain test cases at all levels of our stack (99% backend/API based).
  • Mentor and coach other QA engineers and help them become automation experts.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of QA engineer experience, understanding QA processes and methodologies (e.g. functional testing).
  • Solid track record working with Cypress, Postman and Jmeter (or equivalent tools and tech) and familiar with Java.
  • Performance Engineering is a passion and you always find the bottlenecks.
  • Experience testing a variety of web services, RestAPIs and data flows.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for software quality and for advancing automation testing as an engineering discipline.

What does a Java developer in web3 do?

A Java developer in web3 would likely be focused on developing applications that use the Java programming language in the context of the web3 technology stack

Web3 is a collective term used to refer to the next generation of decentralized, blockchain-based technologies that are aimed at creating a more open and secure internet

In this context, a Java developer would be responsible for writing code that interacts with web3 technologies, such as decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts, to create new tools and services that run on the blockchain

This could involve working with cutting-edge technologies such as Ethereum, which is a popular blockchain platform that uses the Java programming language, as well as other web3 technologies and frameworks.
