Job description

We are looking for a qualified Frontend Developer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for building the “client-side” of our web applications. You should also be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. We expect you to be a tech savvy professional, passionate about building websites and mobile apps that are resilient, secure, and scalable to function in a global intensive business environment.

• Work closely with the Product Management team and the CTO on defining and executing a product strategy that is aligned with Finoa’s business growth objectives.
• Deliver software solutions to time, budget, and quality: take ownership for the whole development cycle - from architecture design to implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Be passionate about building websites and mobile apps that are resilient, secure, and scalable to function in a global intensive business environment.
• Write code and design user interfaces that your peers praise for their elegance and add value by leveraging current trends in software design, architecture, and technology.
• Shape the overall platform architecture and design new products and services that help us propel the business forward.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in technology and web/mobile security to ensure the highest levels of stability and safety for the customer.

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master of Science or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field.
• 4+ years of experience designing and developing websites and cross-platform mobile apps.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and React.
• Confident in working with Git on a daily basis.
• Familiar with the NodeJS ecosystem and npm package management.
• Experience in native app development on iOS (Swift) and Android (Java).
• Knowledge of (Postgres) SQL and cryptography is a plus!
• Experience with REST APIs and microservice-based backends.
• Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams – German and other languages are a plus!
• Previous experience within Financial Services and/or FinTech start-ups is a plus!
