Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements. Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications. Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure functionality. Conduct performance testing, stress testing, and regression testing as needed. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve software issues. Report and document defects, test results, and testing progress. Work closely with quality assurance and development teams to improve testing processes. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing technologies. Participate in the planning and execution of testing phases for software development projects.

  Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect reporting. Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks. Knowledge of scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Java). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

  Preferred Skills

Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Understanding of different types of testing (e.g., functional, integration, performance). Previous experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
