Full-stack Engineer - Wallets- (US)

About Crossmint

At Crossmint we're on a mission to bring the world on-chain, starting with property rights. We believe that the current ways of tracking who owns what are archaic, inefficient and unfair. Property is the foundational layer of human society, yet tracking ownership of assets like real estate is extremely expensive, and the vast majority of assets (such as clothes, furniture, tickets or electronics) don’t have any record of ownership. This imposes a big tax on society, by making commerce less liquid, hindering reusability of assets, and enabling theft and fraud.
But there’s a solution. The blockchain, and cryptographic primitives on top of it, like NFTs, wallets and cryptographic credentials, offer a credible foundation to build a world scale digital property system.
And this solution is being implanted now. Since the creation of the NFT standard, all user and business adoption metrics have grown exponentially, non stop. What started as a toy use case to speculate over cat and monkey pictures, is now being used by half of Fortune 500 and tens of millions of users.
But the journey is less than 1% done…

How do we do this?

Crossmint is accelerating the world transition to on-chain, by building APIs and tools that make it 100x easier for companies to create, custody and commerce with digital property rights (NFTs) and credentials.
Our APIs abstract out all the quirks and complexities of interacting with blockchains to simple REST APIs and no-code tools that any company can adopt, in minutes.

How do we fund this mission?

We sell our tools and APIs as a service to other companies who wish to integrate NFTs, wallets or credentials inside their systems. We save these companies hundreds of thousands of dollars in infrastructure and engineering, and charge them a fraction to manage all for them in a secure, compliant and low maintenance way. More than 30,000 devs and companies have used us, including Sony, Mastercard, Microsoft, Etihad Airways, Red Bull, Adidas, Asus, AC Milan, Phantom, Rarible, Refik Anadol, and Snoop Dogg.
In addition, Crossmint is backed by top tier investors and angels in the fintech and crypto space.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for dreamers, with high competence, extreme ownership, and impeccable integrity. Our team includes math olympiad winners, Guinness world record holders, athletes, music composers, polymaths, and degens. Diverse applicants are encouraged to apply.

Web3 is a collective term used to refer to the next generation of decentralized, blockchain-based technologies that are aimed at creating a more open and secure internet

In this context, a Java developer would be responsible for writing code that interacts with web3 technologies, such as decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts, to create new tools and services that run on the blockchain
