You’ll design, implement, and maintain automated tests for UI and APIs, execute targeted manual testing where appropriate, and integrate quality checks into CI/CD to help us ship reliably and fast. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Own end-to-end quality for assigned features: test planning, case design, automation, execution, and reporting. Build/extend maintainable automation frameworks for Selenium/WebDriver (UI) and API tests (e.g., REST Assured or Python/pytest + requests). Create smoke, regression, and sanity suites; reduce flakiness and improve coverage & runtime.

Integrate suites with CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI) and publish clear reports (Allure/Extent).

Partner with Product & Engineering to define testable acceptance criteria and adopt shift-left practices. Perform exploratory and risk-based manual testing for new/complex features and support UAT when needed. Prepare and manage test data, validate states via SQL/DB queries, and debug with logs/DevTools.

Log/track defects with precise repro steps, severity/impact; drive fixes to closure.

Monitor and communicate QA metrics (pass rate, defect leakage, flake rate, coverage) and propose improvements.

Contribute to code reviews for test code, standards, and best practices; mentor juniors when applicable. WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

3–5 years in QA, with 2+ years focused on test automation.Hands-on with Selenium/WebDriver for UI automation. Strong API testing experience (Postman/Insomnia plus REST Assured (Java) or Python with pytest/requests).Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#; comfortable reading others. Test frameworks: TestNG/JUnit (Java) or pytest (Python); exposure to BDD (Cucumber/Behave) is a plus. CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI) and Git version control.Strong manual testing fundamentals: test design techniques, boundary analysis, exploratory testing. Working knowledge of SQL and basic Linux/CLI; excellent written and verbal communication.

Nice to Have

Modern web testing tools (Playwright or Cypress). Performance testing basics (JMeter or Locust).Containers/cloud basics (Docker, cloud CI runners). Experience with ERP or complex integrations (e.g., PeopleSoft) is a plus.
