Founding Full-Stack Software Engineer | Onsite | Web3


Berkley Hunt is partnering with a seed stage startup in the crypto space who is looking for a founding Full-Stack Engineer to help build the next generation of tools for exploring and interacting with smart contracts. You will be responsible for designing and implementing systems and protocols that make Ethereum the bedrock of decentralized finance.


What You’ll Do

  • Write high-quality and well-tested code and review teammates’ work
  • Architect, build, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure underlying product offerings
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to craft first-class user experiences
  • Own product improvements from ideation through launch
  • Author or contribute to Ethereum Improvement Proposals

What We’re Looking For

  • Based in the US
  • 2+ years of engineering experience at fast-paced startups
  • Extensive experience shipping full-stack products from start to finish
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Solidity, Go, or Rust
  • Supremely curious
  • Web3 native
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, or orchestration (AWS, Docker, ECS, CDK, DynamoDB)
  • Extensive knowledge of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Ethereum infrastructure
  • Experience writing smart contracts
