- You have 3+ years of professional experience building API first back end services (e.g. REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
- You have experience designing, building and deploying cloud native micro-services
- You are passionate about building automated tests alongside your features
- You have real world experience building complex distributed systems.
- You enjoy building services from scratch and supporting them over a meaningful period of time.
- You have a genuine interest and pride in code quality and infrastructure.
- You prioritize end-user experience and business value over âcool tech.â
- You developed âcomputer science fundamentalsâ, i.e. algorithms, data structures and operating systems (Formal CS degree NOT required).
Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
- Professional experience with C++ or Go.
- Professional experience with Kubernetes
- You have experience with system security (e.g. authentication, authorization, identity, API keys)
- You have a background in the finance industry.
