Earn Alliance is seeking a dynamic Community Manager to join our team and help nurture, manage, and expand our community across various channels, with a primary focus on Discord and Telegram.
We're looking for a community expert, ideally with a background in gaming or web3, who excels at crafting engaging content and has creative ideas. If you’re passionate about our community of gamers, and web3 enthusiasts and can effectively share our vision and offerings, this may be a solid fit. This role requires someone who listens to our community and keeps us informed about their thoughts, while developing strategies to attract, engage, and retain users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Growth & Engagement: Spearhead initiatives to grow and engage the community with the ability to leverage game and product launches to drive growth
- Community Interaction: Foster a sense of belonging by making community members feel seen and heard, and excite them about our products and vision.
- Content Creation & Management: Develop and organize engaging content, online events (AMAs, Game Streams), and other media to keep the community active.
- Community Support: Address community queries as the company’s voice and manage moderators and ambassadors.
- Partnerships & Collaborations: Reach out to other groups for partnerships and collaborate with selected influencers as ambassadors.
- Event Coordination: Work with the marketing team to plan and schedule community events and activations aligned with marketing goals.
- Community Game Nights and AMAs: Host frequent Community Game Nights and AMAs with game devs on our Discord of 150k members.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years as a community manager for larger or growing communities with Web3/ crypto start up experience
- Discord Expertise: Proven experience in building and managing Discord servers, including setting up bots and staying on top of trends.
- Analytical Skills: An analytical mindset to monitor and report on community growth and engagement. You must understand the “why’s” of something working or not working
- Passion: Enthusiasm for gaming and web3
- Public Speaking: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence / gravitas to host community game nights and AMAs
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of photo and video editing software to create assets for posts.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach.
- User Engagement: Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of users, from newbies to hardcore web3 gaming enthusiasts.
- Crisis Management: Experience in handling issues and crises.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively or independently as needed.
