The team

Our team is focused on creating secure, user-friendly, and innovative solutions in the self-custody wallet space. As we expand, we are looking for a crypto native Engineering Manager to lead our full stack engineering efforts, ensuring our products not only meets but exceeds the industry standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our codebases across both React Native and Node. Your expertise in building scalable and high-performance applications will directly contribute to the success of our platform as you direct a team of full stack engineers. You will stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends, conduct thorough research and evaluation to ensure that the system remains at the forefront of the industry.

The opportunity

• Manage and grow a team of highly qualified and experienced full-stack engineers

• Responsible for the architecture and technical design, development, and performance optimization of the Web3 wallet

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using React Native and Node

• Spend at least 25% of your time writing code, we expect Engineering Managers to be extremely close to the metal

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Security, to ensure seamless integration of new features and improvements

• Maintain a security first mindset by staying abreast of the latest trends in Web3, blockchain technologies, and digital wallet security.

• Help scaling the team by hiring and growing passionate engineers committed to excellence

• Lead by example and nurture talent in a full-stack team, focusing on the growth of developers

• Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the codebase

• Own, drive, and be accountable to KPIs pertaining to reliability, resiliency, durability, and uptime

Skills you should HODL

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and mobile applications

• 3+ years proven track record of managing high performance engineering teams

• Hands-on experience in blockchain or web3 applications, familiar with EVM and contract interaction details.

• Deep understanding of TypeScript and proficiency with React and React Native frameworks

• Experience with Node, RESTful APIs and WebSockets

• Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tooling

• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles

• Deep knowledge of software development and delivery best practices; you know when a team isn’t moving fast enough and you know how to fix it

• Experience driving solutions to key business problems, even if the requirements are not clear

Nice to haves

• Familiarity with Swift and Kotlin

• Experience with maintaining open source software

• Experience with Smart contracts
