MadProductions is an open-source cryptographic blockchain company building a Layer2 Ethereum chain meant to power applications looking to leverage a modern identity validation platform. MadProduction's AliceNet brings the utility of a true bridging solution with the security of a UTXO-based chain sitting beneath a suite of interfaces and services meant to leverage the power of web3.
We are looking for an engineer who wants to build the interfaces that will allow our users to take advantage of the technology inherent in our chain. The ideal candidate is interested in web3, passionate about tech that can solve big problems in elegant ways, and will speak their mind, contributing both ideas and code to the team.
Responsibilities:
- Building javascript interfaces using react which are capable of leveraging the functionality inherent in the blockchain
- Integrating with a software development team and working closely with a technical project manager
- Conducting technical due diligence and understanding dynamics/tradeoffs between different implementations
- Developing new products and services that offer new capabilities to our end users
Qualifications:
- 5+ years building software with javascript, node.js, and react
- Comfortable integrating with smart contracts (ethers.js or similar)
- Understanding of Ethereum and Dapps
- History using Semantic UI or a similar UI toolkit for React (Material, etc)
- Experience with utility-based CSS class libraries (We currently use Tailwind CSS)
- Written and maintained JavaScript libraries
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
Bonus Points:
- Passion about what decentralization technology can offer to humanity
- An insatiable curiosity about the industry; self-motivated to pursue researching every new idea that floats across the industry
- Used Electron or similar to build cross-platform applications
- Experience with Solidity
- Experience in using and understanding Layer 1 / Layer 2 bridging technology
- Have a baseline understanding of public-key cryptography and current accepted standards
- Experience using NFTs
