Responsibilities
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Unity-based game systems from concept to completion.
• Define technical direction and ensure architectural consistency across the project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including art, design, and backend to deliver a cohesive product.
• Mentor and support developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and training.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through best development practices.
• Drive innovation by integrating Web3 technologies and keeping up with industry trends.
• Identify technical risks and devise mitigation plans proactively.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in game development.
• Proven team leadership experience in large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Expert-level proficiency in Unity, including Unity Cloud Build, Addressables, and networking frameworks (Photon, Fusion, Quantum, FishNet, or Mirror).
• Strong knowledge of Web3 technologies and their integration into game environments.
• Proficiency in Zenject, or similar dependency injection frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles (OOP, data structures, algorithms).
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring developers.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to take ownership with minimal supervision.
• Deep understanding of game design principles and player engagement mechanics.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior involvement in shipping or maintaining a Web3/metaverse product is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Python and Node.js is a strong plus, especially for handling and analyzing exported analytics data from platforms like BigQuery.
• Familiarity with MVC/MVVM architectural patterns.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
