We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Chief of Staff to support our R&D team and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), a world-renowned cryptographer, in driving our ambitious crypto initiatives forward. As the right-hand person to the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational efficiency, strategic alignment, and effective communication within the R&D team and across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the CTO to translate vision into actionable strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Example, own the content and production of the Global R&D Meetings.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline processes, establish best practices, and optimize workflows to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
- Project Management: Oversee key projects and initiatives from inception to completion, tracking progress, managing timelines, and mitigating risks. Jira fluency preferred.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between the CTO and internal/external stakeholders, facilitating communication and fostering strong relationships.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, industry analysis, and technology assessments to identify emerging trends and opportunities for innovation.
- Executive Support: Provide comprehensive support to the CTO, including calendar management, meeting preparation, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Strategic Initiatives: Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the CTO, driving cross-functional collaboration and delivering results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex initiatives from conception to execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Multi-lingual preferred.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and navigate ambiguity in a rapidly changing landscape.
- Ability and passion to understand technical concepts and relate to technical people.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally for conferences
