About The Role:

The Engineering team at Shardeum is responsible for delivering the Shardeum Mainnet, and developing the smart contract platform, the consensus layer and the protocol layer. We focus on building scalable, performant, secure and reliable software that can be downloaded by thousands of node operators to actualize the Shardeum network.

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to help the Shardeum leadership team create the Product function that’s responsible for overseeing the strategy, planning, execution, marketing, and operations of new products for the Shardeum platform. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Web3 technologies and protocols, with the ability to drive the creation of innovative product solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Own the product vision, strategy, feature set and roadmap for our Layer1 Blockchain platform.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and other key stakeholders to outline and prioritize product features.
• Utilize your comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of multiple areas across disciplines to achieve project objectives.
• Lead engineering discussions and help make technology decisions related to product strategy and features.
• Define clear product requirements and user stories, working closely with engineers to ensure successful implementation.
• Assess and analyze product performance to ensure it aligns with business objectives.
• Actively identify and raise risks and issues to key stakeholders, while working with teams to create mitigation and resolution strategies.
• Perform market research and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities for innovation.

What We're Looking For:

• 10+ years of Product Management experience in a leadership capacity - specifically in Web3 or blockchain technologies.
• Capable of managing multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Skilled in designing intricate systems.
• Strong grasp of blockchain data structures and analysis techniques.
• Capable of strategic and creative thinking to tackle complex challenges.
• Able to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Exceptional persuasion skills with a talent for gaining support for your vision.
• Strong analytical abilities and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Proven success in guiding cross-functional teams through product delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and adept at clearly articulating customer challenges.
• Experienced in creating a multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap.
