Sparring is a disruptive international law firm supporting exclusively startups, investment funds and technological companies, providing legal services in Czech, Slovak, and EU/US jurisdictions. We are now seeking a client-facing Czech qualified Attorney who not only excels in legal delivery but also enjoys leading and mentoring junior colleagues. Like-Minded individual with strong interest in innovative ecosystems. 

At Sparring you will:

• support our clients mainly with M&A, investments, corporate structures, deal negotiations, strategic & investment advisory, commercial contracts, and data protection.

• Serve as a mentor and guide for our junior colleagues, enhancing their professional growth and development.

• amplify our CZ practice by engaging with potential clients and fostering meaningful partnerships with ecosystem partners such as VCs, accelerators, or communities,

• Be responsible for managing and reviewing client deliveries, leading major projects in M&A, startup investments, and corporate/commercial law, with a focus on quality assurance.

What are we looking for?

• Czech-qualified Attorney at Law with interest in innovation, technology and startups

• 3+ years of work experience as attorney in the M&A / Corporate / Contract / IP / Civil in CZ or CEE

• Leadership skills and mentoring mindset, experience in leading teams

• Startup mentality and strong will to push for the best

• Strong communication skills and a proactive and professional approach

• Fluent English in speaking and writing (C1 level) with knowledge of legal English
