About the job

As an Electronic Engineer you will be responsible for all the miners in depending sites and their maintenance. You will coordinate and lead the repair tasks for these as to assist plants to be always at their optimal readiness point. An internal client-supplier relationship is to be built with operative mining team, based on mutual collaboration and excellence. The lab is an strategical part of the operation, and your task is to ensure this function.

Responsibilities:

Planning and Procurement:

• Develop and manage planning to maintain optimal inventory levels.

• Support the team in ensuring the availability of raw materials, spare parts, spare equipment, consumables and components to support uninterrupted production.

Site Management:

• Lab site management. Responsible for defining required investments to align with business strategy and needs.

• Develop and implement efficient maintenance and repair strategies aiming for highest available hashrate for sites.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives. Keep technical information updated.

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Team Leadership and Management:

• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.

• Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Local relay for onsite colleagues or remote ones helping them achieve their goals

• A technical oriented bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Preferably electronics.

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience with proven track records of similar positions. Electronics service background is an asset.

• Must be fluent in English and Portuguese

• Knowledge of Spanish is a big plus.
