We are looking for contributors for a project that implements a new consensus mechanism for a blockchain protocol. It involves implementation of a run time, a network/communications layer, and a storage engine. These are implemented in native C/C++ code.
Work on the run time engine requires knowledge of Linux internals, particularly cgroups and namespaces.
Anyone interested in this position needs to
- provide links to open source projects where they have actively contributed
- show that they are able to deploy and test a www-scale distributed application. We will provide a existing application to deploy and test.
- be able to efficiently implement new protocols. Applicants will require to work 1-2 weeks on a sample assignment.
