About Paxos Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it. We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like PayPal, Venmo, Mastercard and Interactive Brokers. About the role The Quality Assurance & Testing Associate will support the QA & testing framework for Paxos’ compliance programs. This role focuses on executing compliance quality assurance review, testing, analyzing data to identify risks, and supporting process improvements across internal controls and external party oversight. The Quality Assurance & Testing Associate will be a results-oriented compliance professional who takes ownership of their day to day work and demonstrates the sharpness needed to strengthen Paxos’ regulatory compliance efforts. What you'll doÂ
Execute QA reviews to assess compliance processes, evaluate control effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement. Support third-party compliance testing, assisting in evaluations of partner risk and regulatory compliance. Analyze data to evaluate compliance risks, detect control weaknesses, and generate actionable insights. Partner with cross-functional teams to assess gaps in compliance processes and implement effective remediation plans. Assist in documenting findings and reporting results, ensuring transparency and accuracy in quality assurance review and compliance testing. Ensure compliance testing results align with evolving regulatory requirements, helping the team adapt to changes.
About you
2-3 years of experience in compliance testing, quality assurance, audit, or risk management, preferably in fintech, financial services, or crypto/blockchain industries. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks (AML, BSA, financial crime compliance, third-party risk management). Proficiency with tools such as Google Suite, Looker, and Compliance Monitoring Systems (e.g., ComplyAdvantage, Chainalysis, Hummingbird). Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify compliance issues through data-driven testing. Ability to effectively communicate testing results to cross-functional teams.
