Role Overview:

Step Finance is seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester with expertise in the Solana ecosystem to ensure the quality and performance of our decentralized finance platform. You’ll work closely with our development team to test and validate features, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, security, and user experience. Your role will be critical in identifying bugs, verifying blockchain integrations, and maintaining the reliability of our platform. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the testing process, directly impacting the success of our products and the trust of our users.

What you'll do:

  • Design and execute detailed test plans and cases to validate platform features, including DeFi tools, dashboards, and Solana blockchain integrations.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, working with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct performance and regression testing to uphold platform stability and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the team to replicate and troubleshoot production issues reported by users.
  • Leverage your Solana knowledge to test blockchain-specific functionality, such as transaction processing and wallet interactions.
  • Contribute to a culture of quality by providing feedback on processes and suggesting improvements.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in QA testing, preferably in fintech, blockchain, or DeFi environments.
  • Strong understanding of the Solana blockchain, including its architecture, transaction flows, and DeFi protocols.
  • Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, or similar) and bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Experience testing APIs, web applications, and blockchain-based systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and proactively communicate findings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
