This job is closed

We are seeking a talented and experienced Front-End focused Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team and help design and build robust, high-performance user interfaces for mission-critical financial applications. You will play a key role in developing real-time trading UIs, visual analytics platforms, and data-driven tools used by traders, researchers, and analysts.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to bring ideas—such as real-time market views, order management systems, and on-chain data dashboards—from concept to production. This is a highly collaborative role in a fast-paced environment where clean design, high performance, and responsive UIs are critical to business success.

Candidates with leadership experience will be considered for a lead role.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with traders, researchers, and project managers to understand and translate complex workflows into elegant UI solutions.
  • Design and implement intuitive, high-performance, and responsive front-end applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Svelte).
  • Build real-time UIs that ingest and render high-frequency market data from multiple WebSocket sources.
  • Develop rich data visualizations using graphic libraries and tools (ex D3.js, Observable Plot, etc.) to present complex analytics effectively.
  • Contribute to front-end architecture and performance decisions, with scalability and maintainability in mind.
  • Deploy and maintain applications, ensuring reliability, usability, and performance under heavy loads.
  • Support system maintenance and feature evolution with high delivery cadence and quick iteration cycles.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote front-end best practices across the team.
Requirements

Must Have

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in front-end or full-stack development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
  • Knowledge of microservice architectures and deployment patterns.
  • Proven experience handling large datasets and real-time data updates from backend sources (e.g., WebSockets, Server-Side Events, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization and rendering strategies in data-heavy applications.
  • Experience in continuous delivery processes with building and operating zero-downtime systems
  • Demonstrated experience building aesthetically polished, user-centric interfaces.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and version control systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team.
Nice to Have

  • Background or strong interest in trading systems or financial platforms.
  • Experience with Python 3 and backend service integration.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and data caching strategies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, or ELK.
  • Prior work in hedge funds, proprietary trading, or similar finance environments.
Interview Process

  1. In the first round, we will explain the firm, assess cultural fit, do a short technical screen, introduce the take home, and determine the ideal team you would match with
  2. Take Home Assessment & Presentation
  3. After the presentation, there will be an interview with the relevant team lead
  4. You will also interview with select members of the relevant team.
  5. Additional rounds may be conducted as necessary with other team members or our partners.
Throughout the process, you'll be assessed for cultural fit through our company values:

  1. Drive - We believe the best team members are passionate about what they do, and that propels them to greater heights in their career. It drives them to be part of the best teams where they are exposed to the best ideas.
  2. Ownership - We aim to give ownership interest to as many people in the firm as possible, but in return, we expect everyone to act like owners. "Not my responsibility" is a repugnant phrase to us.
  3. Judgement - We look for team members who consistently look at the big picture and spend their time on the activities that most drive PnL. They are pragmatic with their time; they don't stick to their narrow domain if it doesn't move the needle.
  4. Openness - We want a culture where we proactively share information with one another and challenge each other with constructive debate to reach the truth.
  5. Competence - We value people with high intellectual horsepower. They have already become an expert in one or more domains and learn extremely quickly when in unfamiliar territory.
