Senior Front-End Engineer
The Role
- At Offchain Labs, we steward the giant technical ecosystem around Arbitrum technology bridging across a broad variety of products and use cases. As part of the Full Stack Engineering team at Offchain Labs, you'll be leading the effort to develop and optimize our tech, including services powering our consumer-facing apps, internal services, various developer tools, and more, using your expertise in React and TypeScript. We’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited about blockchain, has excellent communication abilities and is enthusiastic to learn more from the team, including our CTO.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate directly with designers to bring creative visions to life, including animations and interactions
- Develop performant, accessible UIs using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern CSS
- Integrate analytics platforms (Google Analytics, PostHog) and CRM systems (HubSpot) into web applications
- Implement and maintain headless CMS solutions for content-driven websites
- Build marketing websites and landing pages based on Figma designs, delivering pixel-perfect, responsive implementations
- Build consumer-facing web applications in the blockchain and Ethereum scaling space
- Optimize websites for performance, ensuring high Lighthouse scores and fast page load times
- Keep up-to-date on the latest technologies and developments in the space
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of front-end engineering experience
- Proven track record of building production websites from Figma designs to deployment
- Strong expertise in responsive design and cross-device and cross-browser compatibility
- Deep understanding of web performance optimization, including Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scoring, and PageSpeed best practices
- Hands-on experience integrating analytics tools and CRM platforms
- Experience working with headless CMS platforms like Sanity, Contentful, or similar
- Expert-level proficiency in CSS, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- You care deeply about crafting high-quality user experiences and pay attention to design details
- Animation implementation skills (Framer Motion, GSAP, or similar)
- Interest in or experience with blockchain technology and web3 development
- Security-conscious approach to code development with rigorous QA and testing practices
- You have excellent communication skills and thrive on collaboration and feedback
