🚀 Research Lead

🌎 NYC Based (Hybrid- 3 days in office)

⚡ $230k-$270k Base Salary

The Company:

Our client is a leading decentralized trading platform that lets users buy and sell crypto derivatives with leverage, all while keeping full control of their funds through their own wallets. Built on advanced blockchain infrastructure, it offers professional exchange features like order books, limit orders, and low fees without relying on intermediaries.

✅Responsibilities:

• Lead research on markets, protocol design, incentives, and user behavior.
• Build data systems, define metrics, and create tools for clear insights.
• Partner with engineering, growth, and ecosystem teams to shape strategy.
• Share thought leadership through content, publications, and community engagement.

✅Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in quantitative fields (Math, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Economics) or a related field
• 5+ Years working in tehcnical role (Developer, Quant, Analyst, Data Sciencetist)
• 2+ Years working in blockchain or roder book data (working with market data from cyrpto exchanges or similar work)
• Knowledge and passion in DeFi and web3 and trading (especially HFT or derivitaves)
