Responsibilities:

    • Manage business critical real-time trading systems in order to identify issues and problem areas
    • Ensure the smooth running of the firm’s trading and execution systems using in-house proprietary software applications and tools
    • Carrying out trade surveillance
    • Interacting with operations technology teams
    • Implement new systems and configuration updates for the purpose of trading operations, risk management and new markets/product launches
    • Testing of software releases, upgrades and applications as part of the trading system
    • Assisting in the training of relevant staff to ensure continuing competence in accordance with the CySEC regulation
    • Troubleshooting a variety of trading issues and liaising with appropriate teams where necessary to ensure their resolution
    • Keeping up to date with changes in market conduct regulations

Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
    • Solid experience in a trading or dealing role within a regulated financial institution (CySEC, FCA, or equivalent).Strong knowledge of financial markets and regulatory environments
    • Good understanding of risk management and compliance requirements in proprietary trading
    • Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
