Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and secure blockchain protocols, smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized applications (dApps).
- Identify vulnerabilities in Layer 1 (L1) architecture and provide actionable recommendations.
- Conduct threat modeling and security assessments for core blockchain infrastructure.
- Collaborate with protocol developers to design and implement robust security measures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in blockchain security.
- Develop security tools and frameworks to enhance the security posture of blockchain ecosystems.
- Perform penetration testing and security analysis on smart contracts and blockchain networks.
- Contribute to security research and share insights within the blockchain community.
Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive expertise in blockchain security, smart contract auditing, and L1 protocol security.
- Proficiency in Solidity, Go, JavaScript, or other relevant programming languages.
- Strong understanding of cryptographic primitives, consensus mechanisms, and blockchain architectures.
- Experience with security tools and frameworks for blockchain ecosystems.
- Ability to analyze complex security threats and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Experience in penetration testing, formal verification, or static/dynamic analysis for blockchain applications is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
