Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Backend Rust Engineer to play a key role in developing and enhancing the backend systems, such as our Smart Order Routing engine & integrations of Perpetual DEXes on Solana. Your expertise in Rust and backend development will be crucial in building robust, secure, and efficient systems that power our innovative DeFi solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend services in Rust, focusing on performance, scalability, and security.
- Develop and maintain algorithms and integrations of Perp DEXes on Solana.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate backend services with frontend applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Optimize existing backend systems for maximum speed and scalability.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex issues related to backend development
Qualifications:
- Experience: Over 6 years of backend development.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Rust. Experienced with blockchain RPC and indexing.
- Independent Contributor: Proven ability to own and deliver complex projects with high-quality solutions.
- Trading Experience: Knowledge or experience with trading platforms, especially DeFi is a significant advantage.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What does an Solana developer do?
As a Solana developer, your responsibilities would include designing, implementing, and maintaining applications on the Solana blockchain platform using Rust programming language
This would involve using the Solana software development kit (SDK) to write smart contracts and build decentralized applications (dApps) that make use of the platform's features and capabilities
You would also be responsible for ensuring that your dApps are secure, efficient, and scalable, and for testing and debugging your code to ensure its correct behavior
Additionally, you may be involved in the ongoing development and improvement of the Solana platform itself, working with other members of the Solana community to drive innovation and advance the state of blockchain technology.
