Who are we looking for? đź’»
- You’ve been exposed to Ethereum engineering in a some capacity for at least 6 months.
- You understand fundamental blockchain principles such as blocks, nodes, networks, UTXOs and account-based systems.
- You’ve had previous contact with open source standards in the Ethereum ecosystem such as ERC-20, ERC-721/1155 and open source libraries such as web3.js or Ethers.js.
- You’ve worked on wallet management, NFTs or another area crypto-specific development previously, and can talk about it with conviction and in deep detail.
- You’re comfortable writing, iterating on and reviewing smart contracts written in Solidity.
- You take pride in shipping high impact product and settle for nothing less.
- You champion a culture of engineering excellence and hold yourself to the highest standard.
- Bonus points for writing or contributing to open source standards and libraries.
- Bonus points for experience with our tech stack (see below).
This is an owner role, not an employee role. You’ll bear the title of founding engineer, which means substantial equity upside and key contribution to the direction of the business.
What You’ll Do đź§
- Own HyperMint’s Ethereum efforts: plan, design and iterate on our Solana strategy.
- Become a subject matter expert on Ethereum and Solidity within our business.
- Educate other founding engineers and our leadership on Ethereum and Solidity.
- Work with our Head of Engineering and leadership to define our product roadmap.
- Participate and shape an excellent engineering culture.
- Position yourself to pivot into a team lead role.
- Opportunity to be exposed to tier 1 clients in solutions and discovery calls.
