We are currently hiring a Staff level Smart Contracts Engineer focused on building and maintaining the decentralized XMTP network.
What Youâll Be Working On:
Writing and deploying XMTP smart contracts on XMTPâs messaging L3.
Working with our decentralization team on the indexing pipeline to bring data offchain
Designing fun smart contract backed applications to power unique features in the Converse app
Your Experience:
Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, staff level.

Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining high-TVL smart contracts.
Architected and designed complex systems onchain
Expert at gas optimization. Some of these contracts will be very high throughput
Experience working with auditors to find vulnerabilities
Writing well-tested Solidity code
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience working in open source and communicating with the public.
Experience working as an auditor
Formal verification experience is a plus
