What is Xweave?

Xweave is on a mission to revolutionize global money movement by pioneering a next-generation payment service that breaks through the traditional barriers in the financial ecosystem. Our approach merges the existing payments infrastructure with digital assets by creating a a global network of regulatory approved digital asset liquidity providers.

What is the role?

We're looking for a foundingTechnical Lead (Software Engineering) to join our team. This role requires someone who is an exceptional collaborator, able to work closely with cross-functional teams and lead by example. The ideal candidate is an experienced builder with a proven track record in designing and developing scalable software solutions.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about engineering in the finance, fintech, and web3 sectors, with a deep interest and experience in the financial technology space, including blockchain and decentralized finance. The candidate should have a strong sense of responsibility, taking full ownership of projects and driving them from conception to deployment. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Attributes?

You should have:

• Ideally 8-10+ years of software development experience (full stack), preferably in the Fintech / Payments industry.
• Experience building in systems or products at scale
• Familiarity with building complex payments businesses, preferably a deep understanding in areas such as security, compliance, DevOps, ISO 270001
• Play a key role in shaping the team by actively participating in the hiring and decision-making processes.

Our Tech Stack?

• Front-End Development:
  • Proficiency in React with experience in building dynamic user interfaces.
  • Familiarity with CSS, Flexbox, TailwindCss and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Back-End Development:
  • Familiarity with RESTful services and microservices architectures.
  • Expertise in NodeJs for full stack development.
  • Expertise in building APIs
• DevOps & Cloud:
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and serverless architectures.
• Workflow Orchestration:
  • Experience building reliable, scalable workflows and background jobs.
• Databases:
  • Experience with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • (Preferred) Payments experience
