BlockFi is looking for a Derivatives Trader tojoin our growing team!
Your Mission
- Price and trade crypto derivatives across OTC and listed venues
- Collaborate with quants and developers to set up high-touch and low-touch options execution process
- Risk manage a complicated and diverse portfolio of derivatives positions
- Make real-time trading decisions based on systematic signals
- Oversee and improve electronic execution of options with both pre and post trade analysis
- Maintain relationships with a broad set of voice-based liquidity takers and makers
- Help expand trading team capacity by responding to flow
- Work with research to backtest and develop new trading strategies
- Continually seeks to improve desk’s systems, procedures and the team’s investment process
- Produce market color and commentary
Your Expertise
- Passionate about crypto.
- Bachelors or higher degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, or other quantitative discipline.
- Years of experience actively trading: 5 - 10 years.
- Asks insightful questions to continually learn about market dynamics, pricing procedures & client relationships.
- Demonstrate a positive track record of PnL and Sharpe.
- Broader experience in cross-asset trading experience.
- Experience in non-linear products: vanilla and exotics, volatility, correlation.
- Solid foundation of understanding the Macroeconomic environment with a focus to global Emerging Markets.
- Programming/Tech qualifications; for example: R, Excel, VBA, Matlab, Java, Python or c++
