We are seeking a highly skilled Staking Market Analyst for a 3-6 month project focused on obtaining market intelligence around staking and the global landscape of institutional staking. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, the ability to analyze data, and provide actionable insights to help predict the future of staking by 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research on the institutional staking landscape in North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments impacting the global staking ecosystem.
- Identify key market drivers, opportunities, and challenges within the staking sector.
- Monitor and report on the competitive landscape, providing insights into competitors' strategies and market positioning.
- Develop detailed market intelligence reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Provide actionable insights, sales intelligence, and strategic recommendations to help Figment.io navigate the future staking landscape.
- Produce a prioritized prospect list of Figment’s Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Total Obtainable Market (TOM) by region and business type, informed by blockchain interest, Assets Under Management (AUM), and readiness for staking.
- Predict institutional staking market trends and outcomes for the industry in 2025 based on current data and trend analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and business development, to align market intelligence with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Market Analyst, Research Analyst, or similar role, preferably within the blockchain or fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of the staking ecosystem and blockchain technology.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience building TAM, TOM lists for GTM teams.
- Proficient in using market research tools and software, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: The CAD compensation range for this contract position is CAD $50.00 - $75.00 / hour.The US compensation range for this contract position is USD $50.00 - $75.00 / hour.
