YOUR PURPOSE
Coin Metrics is recruiting an experienced Front End Software Engineer to join our Front End team to create new apps and webpages that showcase our data products.
YOUR VALUE
- Writing, reviewing and testing scalable JavaScript code that supports and enhances data visualizations - including charting tools, dashboards and single page data visualizations.
- Building modular and reusable components and features.
- Focusing on rendering performance to ensure superior experience for data intensive and heavy interaction platforms.
- Designing creative solutions that enhance the user experience while balancing privacy and security.
- Maintaining brand consistency and working with User Experience Design to provide feedback to make designs more programmable.
- Providing feedback to API delivery team to enhance API usability.
- Collaborating with a small nimble team of product, UX designers and engineers to understand business requirements and user experience goals.
YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE
- Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience working with Figma, InVision or similar tool
- Experience with web applications, charting libraries (such as Plotly), and APIs
- Experience architecting web applications
- Strong curiosity for decentralized networks and cryptoassets
- Strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial spirit, and/or startup-like experience
- Hands on experience with React and MobX is a plus
