Job Summary
As a Content Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Polygon Labs’ online identity, engaging its audience, and driving awareness of Polygon protocols, tooling, and the entire unified Polygon ecosystem. You will be responsible for crafting compelling copy, both technical and humorous, developing creative content, and driving our native content to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Content Development: Create a broad array of content types on various social media platforms (mainly Twitter) to drive engagement, including educational and technical posts, engaging videos, infographics, thought leadership pieces, humorous memes, and persuasive website copy that conveys our core messages and values.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, from PMM, Community, marketing, BD, and other areas of Polygon Labs.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Web3 space, social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to ensure social strategies remain current and effective.
- Community Engagement: Actively manage our brand’s presence on various social media platforms, engaging with the community and responding to feedback.
What you’ll need - Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in social copywriting, brand content writing and creation, or technical writing for social media or web platforms, in crypto/blockchain is strongly preferred.
- Sound knowledge of web3, blockchain technology, gaming, cryptocurrency, DeFi, NFTs, culture, etc. is required.
- In-depth knowledge of a variety of social media platforms, particularly Twitter
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to excel in high-stress and fast-paced environments
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Demonstrates great attention to detail and flexibility in urgent requests
